Job Title: Junior Accountant / Accounts Executive / Taxation Executive Location: Goregaon, Mumbai (Candidates from nearby locations preferred) Experience: Minimum 1-2 years (With CA Firms in Mumbai) Employment Type: Full-Time Job Overview: We are looking for a motivated, dedicated, and detail-oriented Junior Accountant with at least 1-2 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate should reside near Goregaon, Mumbai, and possess solid knowledge of accounting principles, Excel, ChatGPT, and internet-based research. The candidate must be mature enough to understand the concept & logic of work & responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: Accounting Support: Assist in preparing and maintaining accurate financial records and reports. Data Entry & Reporting: Perform data entry tasks and prepare various financial reports as required. Reconciliation: Support account reconciliation processes. Audit Assistance: Help conduct statutory, internal, and tax audits across different industries. Taxation: Assist in preparing and filing GST, TDS, and Income Tax returns. Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Client Interaction: Communicate with clients for data collection, updates, and clarifications. Research: Conduct research on relevant accounting and tax issues to assist senior team members. Support Month-End & Year-End Closures: Contribute to closing activities with accuracy and efficiency. Requirements: Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting or a related field. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable using the internet for research and tools. Strong understanding of basic accounting principles. Willingness to learn, adapt to changes, and take initiative. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
