Role Overview:


Account Strategist



Key Responsibilities:

Account Strategy & Planning

  • Lead account planning by proactively identifying opportunities for brand growth across campaigns, content, and collaborations.
  • Build and maintain strategic account roadmaps based on business objectives, consumer insights, market trends, and competitor activity.
  • Create tailored proposals, POVs, and strategic documents to pitch new ideas or initiatives to clients.

Client Partnership & Servicing

  • Serve as the client partner—managing communication, setting expectations, and building long-term trust.
  • Anticipate client needs and proactively recommend solutions, not just respond to briefs.
  • Drive clarity and alignment across all interactions—internal and external.

Campaign Strategy & Oversight

  • Translate brand briefs into high-impact influencer or content strategies.
  • Collaborate with the influencer, creative, and execution teams to ensure alignment with the overall brand narrative and campaign goals.
  • Guide creators/content direction to ensure alignment with strategic intent.

Performance & Business Impact

  • Track campaign performance with a focus on business KPIs (reach, engagement, conversions, perception shifts, etc.).
  • Deliver post-campaign reports with clear insights, learnings, and next-step recommendations.
  • Use performance trends to iterate and evolve ongoing account strategies.

Market & Platform Intelligence

  • Stay ahead of platform algorithm changes, creator economy trends, and cultural shifts.
  • Understand Sentimental Analysis
  • Apply insights (including geo-political or socio-cultural) to brand storytelling and audience engagement.
  • Leverage social listening and sentiment analysis tools to decode consumer conversations, identify potential risks or opportunities, and guide communication strategy.



Requirements:

  • 2–5 years of experience in strategic planning, influencer marketing, and client servicing—ideally at a marketing agency or D2C brand.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan across the marketing funnel—brand awareness to conversion.
  • Strong strategic thinking with a bias toward action.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • A keen understanding of how social media, influencer culture, and content formats impact consumer behavior.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Excel, and basic campaign management tools.
  • Proven ability to manage live campaigns, client communications, performance tracking, and new business planning—without compromising on quality, timelines, or strategic clarity



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in account planning or brand strategy functions.
  • Familiarity with influencer marketing tools (CreatorIQ, Aspire, Upfluence, etc.) and social listening tools (Meltwater, Brandwatch).
  • Ability to write strong creative briefs and evaluate content with a critical, brand-first lens.
