Job Title: Accounts Intern
Department: Finance & Accounts
Location: Delhi
Reporting To: Accounts Manager / Senior Accountant

Position Summary:

The Accounts Intern will support the finance team in day-to-day accounting tasks, including data entry, record-keeping, assisting in preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with company policies. This internship provides hands-on exposure to accounting practices and financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining and updating accounting records and files.
• Support in processing invoices, receipts, payments, and expense reports.
• Help with bank reconciliations and vendor reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
• Verify and ensure proper documentation of transactions.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required data.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the Accounts Manager.

Skills & Competencies:

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP – as applicable).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Educational Qualification:

• Pursuing or recently completed B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter or equivalent.

Duration:

• Internship period: [Specify duration – 3 months / 6 months].
