Detailed Job Description:

As the Head of Accounts, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall financial operations and accounting functions of the company. Your key duties and responsibilities will include:

1. Leadership & Team Management:

Lead and manage the accounts department effectively, ensuring smooth financial operations.

Supervise and guide a team of accountants, providing mentorship and direction.

Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.

2. Financial Reporting & Analysis:

Oversee preparation and submission of financial statements, balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, and other key reports.

Conduct regular financial analysis to assess company performance and suggest improvements.

Provide detailed reports to senior management on financial performance and any variances.

3. Taxation & Compliance:

Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and TCS returns.

Ensure adherence to all tax laws and regulations, including maintaining accurate records for audits.

Work closely with external auditors during the year-end audit process.

4. Cash Flow & Budgeting:

Manage the company's cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operations.

Prepare and review the annual budget, forecasting, and controlling expenses.

5. Accounts Payable & Receivable:

Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to ensure timely payments and collections.

Monitor and reconcile accounts regularly to maintain accurate records.

6. Strategic Planning & Financial Decision-Making:

Work with senior leadership to develop financial strategies aligned with business objectives.

Provide insights on financial trends, opportunities, and potential risks to assist in decision-making.
