Job Description

The Accounts Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting monthly and annual closings, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel. Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable & Receivable Record vendor invoices, prepare payment schedules. Generate and send customer invoices. Follow up on receivables and reconcile accounts. Banking and Reconciliation Daily bank reconciliation and cash flow reporting. Handling deposits, payments, and bank correspondence. Bookkeeping and Ledger Management Maintain general ledger entries. Post and process journal entries to ensure all transactions are recorded. Taxation and Compliance Assist in the preparation and filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards. Reporting and Analysis Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules. Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting. Qualification Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance. 2–5 years of experience in a similar role. Working knowledge of Tally, QuickBooks, or other ERP systems. Strong knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.). Show more Show less
