DAP KIA Automobile is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations of our automobile dealership. The ideal candidate will handle accounting records, financial reporting, taxation, and compliance while supporting management with accurate financial insights.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain complete and accurate books of accounts
Record sales, purchases, receipts, and payments related to vehicle sales and services
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance and filings
Reconcile bank statements, dealer accounts, and vendor ledgers
Monitor inventory accounting for vehicles, spare parts, and accessories
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and banks
Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
CA Inter / CMA / MBA Finance (preferred but not mandatory)
2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in automobile or dealership industry
Strong knowledge of GST and taxation
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, ERP, or similar) and MS Excel
High attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and organizational skills
Preferred Skills
Experience in automobile dealership accounting
Knowledge of inventory and vehicle financing processes
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
