Account Executive

Role Brief

1. Financial Accounting & Bookkeeping

·      Maintain complete and accurate accounting records in Tally Prime.

·      Supervise daily ledger entries, journal vouchers, and trial balance.

·      Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing.

2. Payables & Receivables Management

·      Scrutinise vendor bills, pass payables, and prepare payment schedules.

·      Monitor customer outstanding and follow up for overdue collections.

·      Prepare monthly ageing reports.

3. Cash & Bank Management

·      Prepare daily cash flow status.

·      Manage cheque deposits, online transfers, and fund allocation.

·      Perform monthly BRS for all bank accounts.

4. Statutory Compliance (GST, TDS, Audit)

·      Prepare and file all GST and TDS returns.

·      Ensure timely payment of taxes and accurate reconciliations.

·      Assist in statutory audit, internal audit, and tax audit.

5. Inventory & Asset Controls

·      Coordinate monthly stock reconciliation across branches.

·      Maintain the asset register and depreciation schedules.

·      Monitor stock transfers, consumption, and adjustments.

6. MIS Reports & Analysis

·      Prepare monthly Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and variance reports.

·      Present branch-wise and Brand-wise profitability.

·      Provide financial insights to management.

7. Internal Controls & Compliance

·      Strengthen documentation, approval workflows, and audit trails.

·      Implement SOPs and reduce financial risks.

8. Team Coordination & Training

·      Supervise junior accountants and branch accountants.

·      Provide training on compliance and accounting processes.

Special Criteria

· Expertise in Tally Prime (multi-company, consolidation, GST, TDS).

· Analytical and reporting abilities.

· Strong communication and coordination skills.
