Position: Junior HR Executive Location: Mining Sites across India (frequent travel & extended stay at sites) Reporting To: HR Manager / Head HR Employment Type: Full-time Role Overview We are seeking a dynamic and travel-ready Junior HR professional to support our site-based HR operations. The role involves 15–20 days of site stay every month across our mining and project locations in India. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in compliance, payroll, employee data management , and HR operational activities. This role demands flexibility, adaptability, and hands-on involvement with employees at remote sites. Key Responsibilities Site HR Operations Visit assigned mining/project sites across India and coordinate HR activities. Act as the first point of contact for site employees on HR and compliance matters. Ensure adherence to company HR policies and statutory compliance at the site. Payroll & Compliance Support Assist in collecting and verifying site attendance, overtime, and leave records. Support payroll processing with accurate employee data submission. Ensure compliance with PF, ESIC, gratuity, minimum wages, and other labor laws. Employee Data & Records Maintain and update employee personal files, ID cards, and HRMIS records. Track manpower deployment, joining, exit, and transfer details. Compile site HR reports and share with HO on time. Employee Engagement & Grievance Handling Build rapport with site staff and workmen to ensure smooth communication. Support grievance handling and escalate issues to HO HR when required. Facilitate basic induction and orientation for new joiners at site. Travel & Coordination Be flexible to travel and stay at remote mining locations (15–20 days a month). Coordinate with site management, operations, and accounts team for HR requirements. Key Competencies Basic understanding of HR operations, payroll, compliance, and labor laws . Proficiency in MS Excel / HR software for data handling and reporting. Strong interpersonal skills, approachable, and employee-friendly. Ability to work independently at remote locations with minimal supervision. Willingness to travel extensively and adapt to challenging site conditions. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, Labor Welfare, or related field . 1–3 years of experience in HR operations, preferably in mining, construction, manufacturing, or site-based industries . Responsible for identifying suitable tenders, preparing and submitting bids with accurate documentation, and coordinating with internal teams. They also track tender status, ensure compliance, and support post-award processes. Ensure order acknowledgment, follow up on delivery schedules, coordinate dispatch and logistics, verify invoice and documentation, and support client communication for smooth execution and after-sales service. Maintain daily reports of all site . Experience : Minimum 3-4 years experience of similar work Education – Graduation from any discipline . However engineering graduates will be preferred .
