About The Opportunity

Sports Accessory Designer

• Lead concept-to-sample delivery for sports accessories: create moodboards, sketches, technical flats and complete tech packs for production.
• Produce detailed CAD flats and 3D prototypes using Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop and CLO3D/Rhino to validate fit, form and function.
• Work closely with product development, sourcing and factory partners to ensure manufacturability, cost targets, quality checks and timely sample approvals.
• Source and evaluate materials, trims and hardware for performance, durability and compliance; coordinate lab/wear testing and iterate designs accordingly.
• Translate trend research and athlete or consumer feedback into functional features and seasonal line plans; drive iterative prototyping and wear-testing cycles.
• Maintain PLM/product files, BOMs and timelines; support cross-functional launch readiness and on-site sample management.
  

Skills & Qualifications

Must‑Have

• 3+ years of accessory design experience in sports, athleisure or related accessory categories with a strong portfolio of end-to-end projects.
• Proven ability to create technical flats and full tech packs; portfolio must demonstrate sports/accessory-specific solutions.
• Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; hands-on experience with 3D tools (CLO3D, Rhino or equivalent).
• Deep understanding of materials, trims, sewing/construction methods and production constraints for accessories.
• Strong communication and vendor-management skills; experience coordinating sample development with factories.
• Available to work on-site in India and manage sample cycles / factory visits as required.
  

Preferred

• Experience with PLM systems, cost modelling and product compliance/testing standards (ISO/ASTM or equivalent).
• Knowledge of performance textiles, waterproofing, technical finishes, or sustainable material alternatives.
• Degree or diploma in Industrial Design, Fashion Design, Textile Engineering or closely related field.
