Academic Mentor

Key Responsibilities

1. Student Mentorship & Development

• Build supportive and trusting relationships with a designated group of students.
• Provide mentorship and personalized guidance to help students achieve academic and personal goals.
• Plan and coordinate student activities, clubs, and enrichment programs.
• Address student concerns, minor behavioral issues, and conflicts in collaboration with teachers and counselors.

2. Academic Progress Monitoring

• Track and monitor students’ academic performance, attendance, and engagement.
• Conduct informal assessments to evaluate learning progress.
• Collaborate with teachers and counselors to create and implement individualized academic support or intervention plans.

3. Parent/Guardian Communication

• Maintain clear and consistent communication with parents/guardians about student performance and development.
• Participate in and organize parent-teacher meetings.
• Address parental concerns promptly and provide guidance to support learning at home.

4. Data Management & Reporting (MIS)

• Maintain accurate and confidential student records, including performance data, assessments, and behavior logs.
• Use MIS tools and educational software to generate reports and analyze student progress.
• Support internal reviews and decision-making through timely data reporting.

• Basic understanding of MIS tools and reporting.
