Academic Counsellor

Location : Mala , Thrissur

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Assessing student profiles and counseling students on country procedures, course requirements, and suggesting suitable courses.

2. Building a relationship of trust and respect with clients.

3. Handling inbound and outbound calls and attending walk-in clients to ensure maximum conversion.

4. Managing customer complaints and resolving their issues.

5. Monitoring customer and client satisfaction.

6. Listening to clients' concerns, empathizing with them, and helping them see things more clearly or in a different way.

7. Maintaining student records, tracking student progression, and helping with graduation planning.

8. Keeping confidential records.

9. Ensuring accurate and timely filing of student records.

10. Delivering presentations on topics including admissions, financial aid, student services, and career/part-time job/internship planning. Responding to inquiries and answering questions from students and their parents.

11. Assisting students throughout the admissions process.

12. Staying up to date with universities, courses, entry requirements, scholarships, etc.

13. Attending university training and webinars.

14. Achieve the monthly, quarterly, and annual performance targets set forth by the company.

15. Conducting webinars and small sessions for prospective students to increase sales.

16. Creating reports, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting data while working with clients.

17. Attending college fairs, recruiting events, and career/job/internship workshops.

18. Delivering presentations on topics including admissions, financial aid, student services, and career/job/internship planning.

19. Investigating and solving enrollment issues.

20. Creating and implementing new marketing strategies.
