Industry & Sector:

Education & Online Learning (EdTech) — student engagement, curriculum delivery, and academic operations for K‑12 and upskilling programs. Primary job title (standardized): Academic Program Coordinator. This is an on‑site role based in India for a fast‑moving education operations team seeking a Kannada‑speaking coordinator to manage regional academic delivery and learner outcomes.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day‑to‑day academic operations for Kannada cohorts: schedule classes, assign instructors, manage attendance, and ensure timely start/finish of sessions.
  • Serve as the primary Kannada‑language point of contact for students, parents, and instructors — handle queries, escalate issues, and maintain high learner satisfaction.
  • Manage and update course content and localized instructional materials in Kannada; work with content teams to ensure cultural and linguistic accuracy.
  • Operate and maintain Learning Management Systems (LMS): enroll learners, upload resources, track progress, and generate regular status reports.
  • Monitor learner performance and assessment data; coordinate remedial sessions and communicate progress reports to stakeholders.
  • Implement process improvements for class delivery, attendance tracking, and administrative workflows to increase operational efficiency.

Skills & Qualifications

Must‑Have

  • Fluent in Kannada (spoken, written and reading) and comfortable communicating in English for reporting.
  • Prior experience in academic coordination, student operations, or tutoring center administration (on‑site delivery preferred).
  • Hands‑on familiarity with Learning Management Systems (e.g., Moodle, Google Classroom) and digital classroom tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for attendance, tracking and basic reporting.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple class schedules and instructor rosters.
  • Comfortable preparing and delivering learner progress reports and coordinating remedial interventions.

Preferred

  • Experience localizing educational content into Kannada or regional languages.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace (Sheets, Drive) for collaborative content management.
  • Basic data‑driven mindset for analyzing learner metrics and improving outcomes.
