Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Academic Business Analyst to support our partner institutions with data insights, process improvements, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between academic teams, technology, admissions, counseling, and business strategy—ensuring that every process is optimized for student success and institutional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze academic, admissions, enrollment, and student engagement data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and performance metrics to help management, counselors, and partner institutions make informed decisions.
• Evaluate academic processes, admission workflows, and student lifecycle journeys to recommend improvements.
• Work closely with academic counselors, admission teams, marketing, and partner institutions to align business goals with operational execution.
• Map business requirements, create process flows, and document SOPs for academic, administrative, and admissions activities.
• Conduct regular audits of CRM/ERP systems (Zoho, LMS, MIS tools) and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality.
• Support partner institutions with forecasting, planning, and performance tracking.
• Prepare presentations, insights reports, and business reviews for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with technology teams to implement automation, new features, and system enhancements to improve efficiency.
• Benchmark industry best practices in academic operations, EdTech, admissions, and student retention.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Education, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Academic Analyst, Data Analyst, or in EdTech/education operations.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong analytical skills with experience using Excel, Google Sheets, BI tools, or CRM dashboards.
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
• Experience working with educational institutions, EdTech platforms, or academic operations (preferred).
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong understanding of academic cycles, admissions, student lifecycle, and counseling processes.
• Ability to create process maps, SOPs, BRDs, and workflows.
• Detail-oriented, structured, and process-driven mindset.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per year
