Academic Associate

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Associate from Reputed colleges who will be based in Hubballi, Karnataka and play a significant role in building the Deshpande Skilling's platform of the future. This role will require you to:

1. Overseeing and guiding the quality of all the academic functions of the program. This includes adopting/designing the right frameworks and integrating them with the technology systems and into the SOP of the program.

2. Overseeing the development and quality of curriculum with the help of third parties wherever required.

3. Working with best practices such as the ASER tool to standardize student assessments.

4. Designing a rounded framework for SIVs teacher development.

5. Ensuring regular and consistent teacher development programs.

6. Monitoring the quality of the program with the help of research and data.

7. Developing academics as per the requirement of the program operations

8. Cooperating and collaborating with the execution team for a smooth delivery of the program through its academic cycle.

9. Preparing and presenting relevant reports to internal and external stakeholders.

10. Guiding the team of academic leads and cluster trainers for sustaining the quality of the program.

11. Overseeing the branding and visibility efforts for the program. This includes the regular publication of the program newsletter, coordinating with the media team for production of videos and photos, and handling the social media pages and platforms.

12. Communicating to the external stakeholders, including knowledge partners, funders, Government officials etc.

13. The candidate directly reports to the Program Manager and works with the internal training team, technology team, CSR team, media team, and HR for delivering the program outcomes.

vi. Proficient in MS PowerPoint and MS Office for professional documentation and presentations.

We expect the candidate to be a mature and inventive self-starter who is comfortable collaborating with people with diverse educational backgrounds.

Education and experience

• Any Graduate/Post graduate from a reputed institute.
• 0-2 years of experience; experience in NGOs or the development sector will be a plus.
• Prior experience in the EdTech sector would be a plus.
