Purpose: Senior Manager (People and Culture) will be responsible for comprehensive and effective drive down of Human Resource strategies and operational support for the delivery of the GREMI Strategic & Operational Plan. He/She will support GREMI leadership in all HR initiatives including workforce planning strategy, compensation and benefits review, reward and recognition, employee development and engagement, HR analytics, policy formulations and performance management. He/She will develop and maintain beneficial relationships with key external partners to facilitate the achievement of all HR targets using a systematic approach to ensure adherence to all statutory requirements, accreditation guidelines and protocols and will effectively liaison with other teams for the monthly report compilations and process compliances. Responsibilities: 1. Handling Manpower Planning, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management and Talent Retention. 2. Manage the full recruitment cycle including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviews, and final offers 3. Develop candidate pipelines using job boards, LinkedIn, and networking channels 4. Developing and maintaining organizational policies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization. 5. Handling and responsible for day-to-day operations and documentations including but not limited to hiring, induction, MIS, Payroll, employee grievances, exits etc. 6. Stakeholder management with respect to HR operations across the institute 7. Taking care and being completely responsible for the new employees relocating including but not limited to their pre joining, joining, Induction, settling in the University, in the city, managing and supporting in organizing their legal documents like Aadhar, PAN, FRRO if applicable, etc. 8. Develop and run staff development programs and successfully implement employee welfare initiatives in the Institute. 9. Helping implement Performance Development Program and facilitate developmental interventions. 10. Monitor and ensure the compliance with state and local employment laws and regulations 11. Develop conducive culture and creating good working environment for Institute employees. Eligibility Criteria A postgraduate qualification in Human Resources with relevant experience of 6-8 years of which at least 2 years in a managerial role. Skills and Abilities 1. Experience of building a successful and high performing HR team, including recruitment, effective line management, performance management, and team development. 2. Successful record of leadership and strategy development in a large and complex organization. 3. Experience of having developed and revised HR policies and procedures in an organisation of relevant scale and mission. 4. Successful experience of statutory reporting, reporting to executive and Board level. 5. A sound understanding of the higher education landscape, and of national and international trends and opportunities 6. Excellent standard of spoken and written English. 7. High level maturity, integrity, and ability to handle confidential matters. 8. Excellent analytical and report writing skills.
