A156- Project Engineer / Sr. Project Engineer (Revit)

Key Responsibilities

• Model creation with LOD 300 and above.
• Creation and understanding of .RFA, .RVT files in REVIT.
• Knowledge and assigning of parameters line CMMS etc.
• Uploading of ..RFA, .RVT on BIM360 server and following the transmittal process.
• Understanding of NAVISworks
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical interfaces.
• Should be able to study the data center BIM deliverable document and find the gaps, meet the requirements wherever possible.
• Provide component design solutions at pace, which meet customer, design and regulatory requirements whilst managing the balance of key product attributes of cost, performance and delivery.
• Design, modelling and analyze, mechanical and functional systems and components.
• Designing sheet metal , piping, cast iron and machined parts and handle complex assemblies.
• Produce manufacturing drawings defining the requirements of your solution to enable our product definition group.
• Implement, initiate and solve Engineering Change Request.
• Handle technical changes and new releases in PLM and ERP systems (Wind-chill and SAP or similar, others).
• Produce detailed Design Definition reports, which accurately describe your requirements, your design concepts, how the final concept was selected, requirements, risks and how the design will be verified and validated.
• Create bill of materials with SAP R3.
• Create the documentation of work process, calculations (if any)
• Ensure Series Support for assembly line
  

Skill And Experience Required

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with 4-6 years of experience.
• Should have good understanding of mechanical engineering/Manufacturing process fundamentals
• Genset system knowledge – fundamentals , functions of genset systems.
• Experience in working with project management and PLM tools.
• Knowledge of modern 3D- CAD-systems, preferably Pro Engineer/CREO.
• Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP R3. R2 would be beneficial.
• Knowledge of EDM/PLM systems, preferably Windchill.
• Preparation of data sheet for procured components.
• Experienced to interpret/validate the test specifications/ Results for different diesel engine components
• Practical / field experience would be advantageous.
• Ability to work with cross functional teams.
• Good communication and problem solving skills
• Experience with manufacturing and assembly of diesel engines solution oriented
