As Zonal Sales Manager Snacking Category , you will lead the go-to-market strategy for the plant-based snacking portfolio in your zone. You will be responsible for driving sales growth across multiple channels including general trade, modern trade, and specialty stores, while championing mission of sustainable and ethical eating. Key Responsibilities: 1. Business Development & Sales Execution Drive zonal revenue and volume growth for the plant-based snacking portfolio. Identify, onboard, and scale key retail and distribution partners across GT, MT, and HoReCa. Monitor daily/weekly sales data to ensure achievement of targets. 2. Distribution & Channel Management Expand retail footprint through strong distributor and retail network management. Lead initiatives for placement in natural/organic stores, gourmet chains, wellness hubs, and e-commerce platforms (if zonal). Ensure availability, visibility, and freshness of SKUs at the store level. 3. Leadership & Team Management Manage and mentor a team of Territory Sales Officers and Area Sales Managers. Drive a performance-focused culture with regular reviews, training, and development. Champion field-level feedback and connect frontline teams with brand purpose. 4. Trade Marketing & Execution Collaborate with marketing for regional trade promotions, samplings, activations, and POSM execution. Track ROI of trade spends and promotional campaigns. Support in launching new products and variants in the zone with a strong GTM plan. 5. Insights & Strategic Input Provide real-time insights on consumer trends, competitor movement, and market dynamics. Help identify strategic growth opportunities in the plant-based snacking space. Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Supply Chain teams. 6. Compliance & Reporting Maintain timely sales forecasts, inventory reports, and distributor claims. Ensure adherence to company policies, brand guidelines, and ethical sales practices. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Sales Volume & Revenue Growth in Snacking SKUs Outlet Expansion & Numeric Distribution Execution Score on Merchandising & Visibility Distributor Performance & Order Fill Rates. Preferred candidate profile Qualifications: Education: Graduate; MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred Experience: 12 -15 years in FMCG or Food Sales, with exposure to health-conscious or alternative food categories an advantage Skills: Strong sales execution and distributor management Passion for sustainable and ethical food trends Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and leadership skills Data-driven decision making and market acumen Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools to apply please share resumes with Puja.k@maxisclinical.com
