Job Purpose MIS Executive role primarily focuses on assisting zonal manager in business planning and monitoring performance across categories. To prepare monthly MIS, sales reports on relevant parameters necessary for the manager in controlling the sales operation across regions and in taking decisions to meet the organizational objectives. Job Context & Major Challenges āUltraTech Building Solutionsā (UBS). is a retail format launched by UltraTech Cement Ltd. in 2007 with the objective of providing a one stop shop for high quality construction related products (like cement, white cement &Partner company products like steel, sand, bricks, aggregates, pipes & fittings, paints etc.). Over the years the format has evolved into a complete solution provider covering both products and services need of end users (like technical assistance, Cost Estimation, Vaastu, etc.). Expanding the UltraTech Building Solutions format is a key focus area for the cement business with the objective of retaining the quality retail network in the long run. The business has plans to aggressively expand this format to three times its current size in the next three years. Also, there are plans to expand the scope of product and service offerings at the outlets. The plans envisage a total footprint of 3862 stores with total business turnover (cement & other products) of Rs. 5416 Crores by end of FY 18. Providing input through collection and analysis of data related to the assigned category. The role primarily focuses on data integration, analysis and presentation of the trends to the key stake holders. He provides SKU wise inputs to the manager which is essential for formulating marketing strategy and controlling the sales operations across zones. Ensures timely updation of prices in the system and communication of the same to the stake holders. KEY CHALLENGES Gathering data from varied sources and developing sales reports Maintaining sanity of the collected data; ensure seamless cross functional representation of data to the management Timely presenting the deviations to the stake holders with necessary actionable Maintain updated prices in SAP and communicating to all stake holders Skill set in MS Excel and PowerPoint Key Result Areas KRA (Accountabilities) (Max 1325 Characters) Supporting Actions (Max 1325 Characters) KRA1 Sales Reports & Analysis ļ§ Prepare MIS report in the prescribed format. ļ§ Budget Preparation-Outlet wise, Region wise. ļ§ Preparing & maintaining a system in place for periodic input of the data required for analysis. ļ§ Monitoring SKU wise sales performance against budget (sales, margins etc.) and growth ļ§ Calculation of discount structure from partner company ļ§ Co-ordinate with sales team for Inventory Planning KRA2 Regional Coordination ļ§ Co-ordinate with sales and commercial team across regions ļ§ Ensure timely resolution of issues across regions ļ§ Distribution of marketing give away across regions ļ§ Tracking of usage of budget across multiple heads ļ§ Timely communication to all stake holders. ļ§ System modification for extending category to new depots.
