Aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 11, 12, 13, and 17, the foundation actively works to reduce single-use plastics through innovative projects such as Zero Waste to Landfill models, "Vikalp: Borrow a Bag" and the crockery bank. Engaging with communities, it manages initiatives like the Navjeevan Vihar RRR Centre and organizes Zero Waste events to promote waste reduction and behavior change. With multiple registrations under 12A, 80G, CSR-1, MSME, and NITI Aayog, the foundation partners with various stakeholders to inspire long-term sustainability and environmental impact.

Role Description

We are seeking a Zonal Incharge, Community Mobilization for a full-time, on-site position located in Haryana, India. The Zonal Incharge will oversee and manage organizational projects and initiatives within their assigned zone. Responsibilities include planning and executing community-driven programs, coordinating with local stakeholders, fostering partnerships, and monitoring project progress to ensure alignment with the foundation's sustainability goals. The role also involves team management, stakeholder engagement, data analysis, and reporting on the effectiveness of various initiatives.

Qualifications

• MSW
• 1 to 3 years experience of working in waste management
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders and communities.
• Knowledge of sustainability principles, waste management practices, and community development approaches is highly valued.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting to track project performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Adaptability and problem-solving abilities to navigate challenges in executing projects locally.
• Basic MS Office and Canva skills
