Key Responsibilities: - Supervise and manage the daily operations of the biomedical engineering team. - Develop and implement maintenance schedules for medical equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. - Collaborate with clinical staff to identify equipment needs and address any operational issues. - Manage relationships with vendors and negotiate contracts for medical equipment and service agreements. - Monitor budget and expenditures related to biomedical engineering projects. - Lead training sessions for hospital staff on the proper use and maintenance of medical devices. - Stay updated on advancements in biomedical technology and recommend innovations that can improve patient care. - Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and organizational policies regarding biomedical engineering practices.
