Shift Management & Supervision
: Lead and manage CFS import operations during the assigned shift; ensure smooth handling of containers/cargo from port terminals; allocate manpower and equipment effectively.
Container & Cargo Handling
: Oversee unloading, segregation (FCL/LCL, hazardous/non-hazardous), and delivery post customs clearance.
Stakeholder Coordination
: Liaise with shipping lines, CHA, transporters, customs, and internal teams (yard, warehouse, documentation).
Documentation & Reporting
: Ensure EIR, tally sheets, gate passes, and shift reports are accurate and timely.
Compliance & Safety
: Enforce SOPs, customs regulations, and safety procedures.
Performance Management
: Monitor real-time KPIs, manage exceptions, and submit incident reports.
Optimize container yard space
utilization and improve efficiency in stacking and retrieval within the CFS yard.

Key Responsibilities:

Container Yard Planning
: Strategically allocate slots for import/export, empty, hazardous, and reefer containers.
Stacking & Retrieval
: Plan efficient stacking to reduce re-handling; coordinate retrieval for inspection, stuffing/de-stuffing, and delivery.
Equipment Coordination
: Schedule and allocate reach stackers, forklifts, and trailers.
Inventory Management
: Monitor and update yard inventory through software (NAVIS, CFS systems); ensure location accuracy.
Coordination & Reporting
: Work closely with operations, documentation, and gate teams; prepare yard utilization/movement reports.

Qualifications & Experience:

Graduate/Diploma in Logistics or related field.
Yard operations/planning at CFS/ICD.
Proficiency in CFS software (Navis, SPARCS, etc.).
Strong knowledge of container types, layouts, and MHE operations.
