Job Title: Layout & Design Engineer

Department: Automation Engineering / Solutions Design

Role Overview:

Develop and maintain detailed 2D/3D CAD layouts for automated warehouse systems, including conveyors, AS/RS, AMRs, storage racking, and workstations.
Translate operational concepts, throughput models, and equipment specifications into accurate, constructible layouts.
Collaborate with solutions design, controls, and project engineering teams to ensure system integration integrity.
Perform design iterations to optimize space utilization, ergonomics, and installation feasibility.
Validate vendor and equipment models, clearances, and utility requirements within overall site constraints.
Support RFP responses, installation drawings, and as-built documentation.
Participate in design reviews and engineering validation prior to site execution.
