Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and hands-on PSeven Workflow Engineer to design, develop, and optimize data-driven engineering workflows for the oil & gas sector using the PSeven platform by DATADVANCE. The ideal candidate will have experience working with engineering simulation tools and a strong understanding of subsurface, production, or network modeling processes. Familiarity with data engineering platforms such as Databricks is a strong plus. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement end-to-end workflows in PSeven to support oilfield operations such as production forecasting, well modeling, and surface network optimization.  
• Integrate domain-specific simulators (e.g., reservoir, well, and pipeline models) with PSeven to enable automation and optimization.
• Build and validate surrogate models for complex engineering systems to reduce computational overhead.  
• Perform sensitivity analysis, uncertainty quantification, and design space exploration using PSeven’s built-in tools.  
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate technical requirements into robust workflows. 
• Connect and automate data pipelines between engineering systems and cloud platforms like Databricks or Azure Synapse (if applicable).  
• Document workflows and provide training/support to internal stakeholders or clients. 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.  
• Proven hands-on experience with PSeven platform, especially in workflow automation, optimization, or surrogate modeling.  
• Good understanding of oil & gas production systems, such as reservoir models, well performance, and surface network integration.  
• Scripting or coding experience (e.g., Python) for custom blocks or external tool integration. 
• Familiarity with Databricks, cloud data lakes, or other analytics platforms is a strong advantage. 
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally in a fastpaced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with other design exploration or workflow platforms (e.g., Isight, ModeFRONTIER, Simulink, or KBC Petro-SIM).  
• Exposure to AI/ML model development or data analytics in engineering contexts.  
• Knowledge of OPC UA, REST APIs, or simulator APIs for tool integration.
