Lead architecture, planning, and development of complex WordPress and WooCommerce projects.
Guide, mentor, and technically support a team of developers.
Own the code quality by conducting reviews, setting standards, and ensuring best practices are - followed.
Debug and resolve high-level issues across WordPress, custom plugins/themes, and hosting/server - environments.
Customize and extend WooCommerce functionality via custom plugins, templates, and hooks.
Oversee performance optimization, caching, and scalability for high-traffic WooCommerce stores.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Ensure performance optimization, security, and scalability of WordPress sites.
Integrate third-party APIs and services, both REST and GraphQL.
Manage deployment workflows, staging/production environments, and release processes.
Communicate directly with clients/stakeholders as needed.
Review code, enforce coding standards, and ensure best practices are followed.
Provide support for plugin/theme conflicts, payment/shipping integrations, and server-level issues.
Ensure documentation and knowledge sharing across the team.
Stay current with WordPress core updates, security practices, and emerging tools.
PHP (Server-side): Strong understanding with 8+ years of hands-on experience. Deep understanding of object-oriented PHP, modern best practices.
JavaScript (Client-side): Solid knowledge with 8+ years of experience.
MySQL: Advanced schema design, query optimization, and troubleshooting.
Expert in Custom Theme and Plugin development. – MUST HAVE
Advanced knowledge of Hooks, Filters, Shortcodes, CPTs. – MUST HAVE
Experience with WP REST API, AJAX, and ACF (Advanced Custom Fields). – MUST HAVE
Experience building and extending Block Editor (Gutenberg) components.
Experienced with WordPress customizations. – MUST HAVE
Expert in WordPress optimization techniques. – MUST HAVE
Extensive experience in WooCommerce customization – MUST HAVE
Custom product types, checkout flows, cart modifications.
Experience with WooCommerce Subscriptions, Memberships, Bookings, and other advanced extensions.
Hook-based extensions, template overrides, order processing logic.
Integration of payment gateways, shipping APIs, subscription or booking plugins.
Optimization for large product catalogs and high traffic stores.
Familiarity with WooCommerce REST API and WooCommerce admin components.
HTML5, CSS3, SASS/SCSS – clean, responsive UI implementation.
JavaScript (8+ years), jQuery, React.js (preferred), Alpine.js.
Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap.
Familiarity with modern JS workflows (ES6+, NPM, Webpack)
Strong debugging skills with Xdebug, Query Monitor, etc.
Automated testing with Codeception, PHPUnit, Selenium or Cypress.
Performance monitoring and optimization using tools.
Familiarity with Linux-based servers (Apache, NGINX). - MUST HAVE
Experience with Git, GitHub/GitLab workflows, CI/CD. - MUST HAVE
Ability to manage deployments on shared, cloud (AWS, GCP), and VPS environments. - MUST HAVE
Comfort working with tools like WP-CLI, Composer, Docker (optional).
API Integration: Able to work with third-party APIs, both inside and outside of WordPress.
Shopify Development: At least 2+ years of experience is required.
