Brief & Role We are seeking a highly skilled Senior WordPress Frontend Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in theme development, custom theme creation, and possess a deep understanding of frontend technologies. You will be responsible for transforming designs into high-performing, responsive WordPress websites, optimizing site speed, and ensuring seamless integration with various third-party services. Roles & Responsibilities Theme Development: Design and develop custom WordPress themes using Divi and Elementor, ensuring responsiveness and high performance. Custom Theme Development: Create custom made themes tailored to specific client needs, focusing on scalability and performance. Design to HTML: Convert designs from XD, Figma, or PSD files into high-quality, pixel-perfect HTML and integrate them into WordPress themes. JavaScript and jQuery: Implement interactive elements using JavaScript ES6 and jQuery to enhance user experience. Basic PHP: Use basic PHP skills for backend customization, theme development, and plugin adjustments. Email Templates: Design and develop email templates using platforms such as Mailchimp and Constant Contact for marketing campaigns. Website Speed Optimization: Optimize WordPress websites for speed and performance using various optimization techniques. WooCommerce Integration: Integrate and customize WooCommerce for eCommerce functionality, including product setup and checkout optimization. ReactJS Development: Utilize ReactJS for headless WordPress development and enhance the frontend experience. Quick Fixes: Address and resolve urgent technical issues and bugs efficiently to maintain site functionality. Backend Theme Customization: Customize the backend of WordPress themes to provide enhanced features and improved admin usability. New Lead Review: Review and assess new project leads and requirements, providing technical insights and solutions. Version Control: Use GitHub or GitLab for code management, version control, and collaboration with the development team. Skills & Characteristics Proficient in Theme Builders: Expertise in using Divi, Elementor, and custom theme development to create bespoke WordPress websites. Frontend Technologies: Strong command of HTML, CSS, JavaScript ES6, jQuery, and ReactJS for crafting dynamic and responsive designs. Design Conversion Skills: Skilled in converting designs from XD, Figma, and PSD files into high-quality, responsive WordPress themes. Basic PHP Knowledge: Ability to work with PHP for backend customizations and theme adjustments. SEO Awareness: Understanding of on-page SEO principles and the ability to implement SEO best practices in web design. Email Marketing Tools: Experience with Mailchimp, Constant Contact, and other email marketing tools for designing custom email templates. Website Optimization: Proven track record in optimizing website speed and performance, including image compression, caching, and minification. WooCommerce Expertise: Experience in integrating and customizing WooCommerce to enhance the eCommerce functionality of WordPress sites. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong troubleshooting abilities to quickly identify and resolve website issues. Version Control Systems: Proficient in using GitHub or GitLab for version control and collaborative development.
