Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced WordPress Developer with strong expertise in custom theme and plugin development. While the primary focus will be delivering high-quality WordPress-based solutions, this role also offers the chance to explore emerging AI technologies and integrate them into real-world products.

Experience with React.js or AI tools & APIs will be considered a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive WordPress websites (themes, plugins, custom functionalities).
• Develop using PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript for high-performance solutions.
• Implement responsive design principles ensuring cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
• Integrate APIs, third-party services, and AI-powered features into WordPress projects.
• Stay updated on AI tools, APIs, and frameworks to enhance project capabilities.
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver within tight deadlines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Optimize websites for speed, scalability, and SEO best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in WordPress development.
• Strong knowledge of custom theme and plugin development.
• Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to new technologies.

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)

• Practical experience with React.js (hooks, state management, and best practices).
• Understanding or hands-on exposure to AI development (e.g., OpenAI APIs, chatbots, recommendation systems, machine learning frameworks).
• Knowledge of headless WordPress setups.
• Understanding of UI/UX principles.
