Role Description

WordPress Web Developer

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain WordPress websites using custom themes and plugins.
Modify existing themes based on design guidelines and functionality requirements.
Implement front-end changes using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress tools.
Assist with back-end development tasks such as custom post types, plugin configurations, and integrations.
Ensure websites are mobile responsive, SEO-friendly, and fast-loading.
Support testing, debugging, and troubleshooting across multiple browsers and devices.
Work closely with designers, content creators, and marketing teams to execute web projects.

Qualifications

Around 1
year of hands-on experience
in WordPress development.
Proficient in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and basic MySQL.
Familiarity with theme customization and page builders like Elementor or Gutenberg.
Basic understanding of SEO principles and web performance optimization.
Exposure to using tools like Git, FTP, and cPanel.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (preferred).
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment.
