Role Overview

Dynamics 365 F&O Project Accounting Functional Consultant

✔ Project Management & Accounting (PMA)

✔ WBS, budgeting & forecasting

✔ Project costing, revenue recognition & billing

✔ Timesheets, expense management & workflows

✔ Project invoicing (Fixed Price / T&M)

You’ll work directly with stakeholders on requirement gathering, process mapping, configuration, UAT/SIT support, and post–go-live stabilization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead AS-IS/TO-BE workshops for project accounting workflows
  • Prepare FRDs, GAP-FIT, process flows & functional designs
  • Configure PMA module (contracts, budgets, WBS, costing, billing)
  • Support financial modules when required
  • Coordinate UAT/SIT testing & troubleshooting
  • Assist with data migration & cutover
  • Deliver user training & documentation

Requirements

  • 7+ years as D365 F&O / AX functional consultant
  • Strong functional knowledge of

    Project Accounting

  • At least

    2–3 full-cycle

    D365 F&O implementations
  • Experience in finance reporting, VAT, and compliance
  • Excellent communication & stakeholder management
  • Certification in D365 Finance or Project Operations (preferred)

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Power BI / Power Automate
  • UAE/GCC experience (VAT, localization)
