Warehouse Manager

Position Overview

As the Warehouse Manager, you will oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping. You will be responsible for managing a team of warehouse associates, ensuring that all processes are executed efficiently and in compliance with company policies and safety regulations. The successful candidate will possess leadership abilities, strong organizational skills, and a passion for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage and supervise warehouse staff to achieve daily and long-term operational goals.

· Plan and coordinate all warehouse activities, including receiving, shipping, order picking, packing, and inventory control.

· Monitor and maintain inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies.

· Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, company policies, and legal requirements.

· Oversee the maintenance and safe operation of warehouse equipment and vehicles.

· Prepare on inventory status, and operational metrics.

· Collaborate with purchasing, sales, and logistics teams to optimize supply chain processes and meet customer demands.

· Address and resolve issues related to orders, shipments, and inventory.

· Coordinate with external vendors, carriers, and service providers as needed.

· Manage warehouse layout and space utilization for optimal efficiency and safety.

Qualifications and Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.

· Minimum of 1 year of warehouse management or supervisory experience in a distribution, logistics, or manufacturing setting.

· Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and develop a team.

· Understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and supply chain processes.

· Proficient with warehouse management systems (WMS), Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant technology.

· Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical abilities.

· Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Multiple language skills an asset.

· Physical ability to lift and move items up to 30 kgs, and to stand/walk for extended periods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
