i. Location :- BKBPL – Ethanol Division, Mor, Mokama, Patna.

Job Summary:

To oversee and manage all warehouse operations and dispatch activities ensuring timely receipt, safe storage, accurate inventory management, and efficient dispatch of finished products for a grain-based ethanol plant.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Warehouse Operations

· Supervise receipt, unloading, inspection, and proper storage of chemicals, and other raw materials.

· Ensure safe and compliant storage of ethanol, by-products (DDGS, CO₂), and packing materials.

· Implement and maintain FIFO/FEFO systems for raw materials and finished goods.

2. Dispatch & Logistics

· Plan and coordinate dispatch schedules to meet customer and market requirements.

· Liaise with transporters, customers, and internal departments for on-time dispatch of ethanol and by-products.

· Verify and approve shipping documents, sample testing, lab reports, weighbridge records, and statutory compliance (excise, GST e-way bills, etc.).

3. Inventory Management

· Maintain accurate stock records and conduct regular physical verification.

· Monitor stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.

· Generate daily/weekly/monthly inventory and dispatch reports.

4. Compliance & Safety

· Ensure adherence to statutory norms such as Excise, Pollution Control Board, and Factory Act requirements for ethanol handling, despatch, logistics & transportation.

· Enforce safety protocols for flammable and hazardous materials, including fire-fighting readiness.

· Maintain registers, records & documentation for audits for internal & external authorities.

5. Team Leadership & Communication

· Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff, loader operators, and dispatch personnel.

· Allocate tasks and monitor performance for efficiency and accuracy.

· Satisfactory communication & convincing abilities to transporter, vendor & clients.

Qualifications & Experience

· Graduate/Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.

· 5–8 years of experience in warehouse and dispatch operations, preferably in ethanol, distillery industries.

· Strong knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office.

· Familiarity with hazardous material handling and government compliance for ethanol movement.
