Warehouse Assistant

Key Responsibilities : · Warehouse Maintenance: Ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety standards are consistently maintained in the warehouse and godown areas. · Packing and Dispatch: Handle packing material preparation and coordinate timely dispatch of goods through appropriate transporters. · Inward & Outward Documentation: Manage all formalities related to material inward and outward, including record-keeping and verification of quantities and conditions. · Stock Management: Maintain accurate records of stock levels, perform regular stock audits, and ensure timely updating of stock registers and software. · Godown Cleaning: Monitor and ensure periodic cleaning and upkeep of the warehouse/godown. · Loading & Unloading: Supervise and support loading and unloading activities post arrival or dispatch of goods, ensuring minimal damage and proper handling. · Booking Portal Usage: Utilize transport booking portals to schedule and confirm material dispatches. · Documentation & Compliance: Prepare and manage documents such as Lorry Receipts (LR), Invoices, and E-way Bills in compliance with government and company regulations. · Computer Skills: Use Microsoft Excel for maintaining logs, inventory records, and other warehouse-related data. Basic computer skills are essential.
