Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your validation and verification expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic and collaborative teammates.You'll contribute to delivering validation campaigns in accordance with test plans and test cases in their intended environment (real or simulated). Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (System, Project, Product, Quality, and Safety teams), design and execute test strategies, and much more.You’ll specifically take care of defining and implementing test environments and tools, but also performing test sessions and managing configuration processes.We’ll look to you for:
- Contributing to the global V&V strategy and supporting the creation of V&V plans in collaboration with the V&V Architect
- Specifying and designing overall tests, including test architecture and test cases
- Preparing and executing test scenarios and producing test reports
- Designing and validating test environments and tools
- Investigating defects detected on test benches or on-site
- Ensuring test traceability against requirements and adhering to software, V&V, and safety processes
- Preparing and performing software requirement tests and SW/SW integration tests
All About You

- Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in Engineering – IT, CS, ECE, EEE, or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in the verification and validation of complex embedded systems
- Experience or understanding of testing on-board and trackside products in the railway industry (preferred but not mandatory)
- Knowledge of testing middleware and communication protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, CAN)
- Familiarity with requirement testing in simulated environments and system-level testing
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, ADA, and scripting languages (e.g., Python)
- Experience with RT OS (Linux, VX Works, QNX)
- Understanding of standards like CENELEC SIL4 and DO178A/DO178B
- Strong analytical skills and a collaborative mindset
- Innovative thinking and experience in creating reusable libraries and model-based developments
