VP Regulatory reporting

As a Vice President Regulatory Reporting at Barclays, your role involves the end-to-end delivery of internal and external BBI resolution reporting requirements. This includes overseeing internal governance processes, supporting other requirements such as implementing EBA reporting taxonomies, addressing ad hoc Regulatory data requests and queries. Your responsibilities include: - Identifying and assessing prudential regulatory reporting risks from the bank's activities, products, and services - Developing and implementing strategies to mitigate regulatory reporting risks - Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal control policies - Conducting regular compliance reviews and audits to identify and address potential compliance gaps or violations - Assessing the effectiveness of internal control processes and governance framework - Strengthening internal controls as needed - Preparing and submitting regulatory reports to authorities - Providing support to other departments in their preparation and review of regulatory reports - Analyzing and presenting regulatory data to provide insights into business performance - Identifying trends and supporting decision-making - Developing and implementing training programs to educate employees on regulatory requirements and compliance responsibilities - Communicating and liaising with regulatory bodies - Providing prompt responses to inquiries and requested information - Representing the bank in meetings with regulators - Managing the selection, implementation, and maintenance of regulatory reporting systems and software applications Qualifications required for success in this role include: - Previous experience in a Regulatory Reporting role - Proven ability to meet tight timelines - Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills - Ability to work with and present to senior stakeholders Additional highly valued skills may include: - Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset - Proven experience in managing projects and delivering a change agenda - Experience working across multiple business areas, functions, and locations - Excellent PC skills, including Excel, Word & MS Suite The role is based out of Chennai/Noida.
