As a Vice President of Projects at our client's large organization in the property and real estate development industry, you will play a crucial role in overseeing project portfolio strategy and governance. Your responsibilities will include: - Establishing governance frameworks, policies, procedures, and controls to ensure consistency in project delivery. - Setting up regular reviews to monitor project performance, risks, and adherence to strategy. You will also be responsible for overseeing the project lifecycle, ensuring comprehensive project plans, monitoring critical path schedules, major milestones, and dependencies. Additionally, your role will involve: - Overseeing project budgets, cash flow projections, cost forecasts, and implementing robust cost control processes. - Ensuring projects comply with building codes, safety laws, and environmental standards, as well as integrating sustainability initiatives.
