Our branch offices are located in Chennai, Bangalore, and Delhi. Position title: VP - Business Development Reporting to: Country Head - Sales The Role: As the VP - Business Development, you will be responsible for Business Development in the Western Region. We are seeking a result-oriented business development professional with experience in the Banking and Financial Services Industry, specifically dealing in the B2B space. Your primary focus will be on building new business, expanding the portfolio, and managing a team/region effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Understanding customer requirements and aligning solution offerings appropriately. - Leveraging existing relationships to enhance business potential. - Generating new business and revenue by presenting client value propositions effectively. - Collaborating with Vendor networks to explore partnership opportunities for product and financial propositions. - Managing Partner alliances and maintaining exemplary Account Management for repeat business. - Coordinating with funding partners for cross-selling opportunities and product fit. - Providing sales forecast for the Region and explaining variances. - Developing pricing proposals based on customer requirements and securing management approval. - Coordinating with the Business Finance team to secure Funding. Essential Experience/Qualities: - Preferable knowledge of the leasing industry. - Ability to interpret and analyze data, especially financial statements. - Understanding of Direct and Indirect tax laws as they relate to business solutions. - Moderate to expert knowledge in MS Office applications, particularly MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. - Proven self-starting capabilities to identify new opportunities and explore untapped market segments. - MBA in Marketing/Finance with 10 to 15 years of experience in a similar role.
