emergency call (E000/000) operations

Key Technical Skills

Core Domain & Protocols

  • Deep understanding of 4G/5G Core Network Architecture
  • Call flow expertise for Voice, SMS, Data, VoLTE, and VoWiFi
  • Proficient in IMS/SIP signaling (INVITE, REGISTER, BYE, emergency session)
  • Familiarity with PLMN, attach procedures, roaming, and fallback mechanisms

Emergency Call Support (E000/000 / 911)

  • Monitoring & troubleshooting emergency call failures using NetScout, Splunk, NBA, Ni4cc
  • Performing network activity checks for failed E000 events (Voice, Data, SMS)
  • Coordinating welfare checks and regulatory reporting (ACMA/LEA compliance)
  • Cross-operator validation for camp-on (cross-network) emergency calls

Tools & Technologies

  • Monitoring/Tracing: NetScout, Ni4cc, NBA, Splunk, Wireshark
  • Ticketing / ITSM: Helix, ServiceNow
  • Protocols: SIP, Diameter, MAP, CAP, RTP
  • Vendors: Nokia, Ericsson (Core & IMS preferred)

Soft & Analytical Skills

  • Strong incident/problem management (ITIL framework)
  • Excellent stakeholder communication (internal & external teams)
