We are looking for a
Video Producer with a strong storytelling mindset
, not just technical editing skills. This role will own end-to-end video production across long-form and short-form formats including podcasts, interviews, explainers, leadership conversations, and brand-led content.The ideal candidate can think in narratives, understand scripts, contribute to content ideation, and is deeply hands-on with shooting, editing, and post-production. In addition, this role will act as the
central coordinator for all video production partners
, ensuring quality, consistency, and timely delivery across internal and external teams.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Production
- Collaborate with content, social, and brand teams to understand briefs, scripts, and content objectives
- Contribute to storytelling, structure, flow, and narrative approach during the planning stage
- Plan shoots including framing, visual treatment, basic lighting needs, and platform-specific requirements
- Coordinate with external production houses, freelancers, studios, and vendors during planning and scheduling
Production (Shoot)
- Handle on-ground shooting for interviews, podcasts, leadership conversations, explainers, and brand content
- Manage basic lighting, framing, and audio setup to ensure high-quality raw footage
- Act as the primary on-ground point of contact between EduFund and external production partners
- Ensure shoots stay aligned with scripts, tone, timelines, and storytelling intent
Post-Production
- Edit short-form and long-form videos for social and digital platforms
- Edit and package podcasts, interviews, leadership conversations, explainers, and brand films
- Create platform-specific cut-downs and adaptations from long-form content
- Add text overlays, graphics, animations, sound design, and music
- Ensure high standards across pacing, audio quality, colour correction, and transitions
- Maintain consistency with EduFund’s brand tone, visual guidelines, and quality benchmarks
Production Coordination & Ownership
- Act as the key coordinator for all video production houses, freelancers, and post-production partners
- Own production timelines, deliverables, and quality checks across internal and external teams
- Review outputs from external partners and ensure they meet brand and content standards
- Manage revisions, feedback loops, and final deliveries efficiently
- Support cost-effective production by working closely with vendors and internal teams
Workflow & Collaboration
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced content environment
- Collaborate closely with creative, copy, and brand stakeholders
- Take feedback constructively and iterate quickly
What We’re Looking For
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in video production and editing (brand-side, agency, media house, or content-first startup)
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (hands-on, non-negotiable)
- Experience with camera handling and on-ground video shoots
- Working knowledge of colour grading, basic sound mixing, lighting fundamentals, and motion elements
- Experience producing digital-first content for social and long-form platforms
- Ability to independently own and execute end-to-end video projects
- A strong portfolio showcasing both shoot and edit work, across long-form and short-form formats
Good to Have
- Experience editing explainers, podcasts, or interview-led content
- Exposure to content ideation or script-level inputs
- Basic motion graphics skills
- Experience working with fintech, tech, or consumer internet brands
- Familiarity with YouTube and Instagram best practices
