Job Summary:

creative and detail-oriented Video Editor

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit and produce high-quality

    videos for marketing campaigns

    , product explainers, client testimonials, and social media.
  • Work closely with the

    marketing, design, and content teams

    to create impactful storytelling for financial products (e.g., mutual funds, insurance, investments, loans, etc.).
  • Add

    graphics, motion effects, captions, and sound design

    to enhance viewer engagement.
  • Ensure videos are

    aligned with brand tone, compliance standards, and messaging

    .
  • Repurpose long-form content into

    short, platform-specific formats

    (YouTube Shorts, Reels, LinkedIn clips, etc.).
  • Collaborate on

    storyboarding, scripting, and visual direction

    for new video ideas.
  • Manage multiple projects and deliver outputs within timelines.
  • Stay updated with

    trends in video editing, finance communication, and digital storytelling

    .

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficiency in

    Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Audition, or DaVinci Resolve

    .
  • Strong understanding of

    visual storytelling, pacing, and brand aesthetics

    .
  • Ability to

    simplify complex financial topics

    through visuals and motion design.
  • Knowledge of

    aspect ratios, compression, and video optimization

    for web and social media.
  • Basic understanding of

    marketing funnels and engagement metrics

    for video content.
  • Creativity, attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Experience in

    motion graphics and animation

    is a strong plus.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in

    Media, Film, Animation, Design, or related field

    .
  • 2–5 years

    of video editing experience (preferably in a

    financial services / fintech / agency

    environment).
  • Portfolio showcasing high-quality video work in marketing or finance.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Video engagement rate (views, completion rate, shares).
  • Turnaround time and on-brand delivery.
  • Quality of storytelling and visual execution.
  • Contribution to lead generation and campaign performance.
