Role Overview

Video Editor

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, edit, and finalize videos in a range of formats, including:

• Explainer videos for SaaS and AI tools

• Brand and internal communication videos

• Documentary-style narratives

• Motion graphics and animation videos

• Engaging short-form content (Reels, Shorts, etc.)

• Collaborate with content, branding, and communication teams to produce compelling and conversion-focused video assets.
• Execute post-production tasks including syncing, trimming, transitions, audio balancing, and color grading.
• Integrate motion graphics, icons, typography, and animation when required.
• Maintain consistency with Technotask’s tone, visual identity, and branding across all platforms.
• Manage multiple projects with efficiency and creativity, meeting deadlines without compromising quality.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in:

• Adobe Premiere Pro

• Adobe After Effects

• Adobe Illustrator

• Adobe Photoshop

• Strong understanding of visual storytelling and narrative pacing.
• Solid grasp of video composition, typography, color, and sound design.
• Experience editing videos in various aspect ratios (16:9, 9:16, 1:1) for platforms like YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.
• Ability to deliver polished, high-quality videos under tight timelines.

Bonus Points For

• Familiarity with SaaS or AI-based product marketing.
• Knowledge of 2D/3D animation basics or tools like Blender.
• Exposure to AI-assisted editing tools (Runway, Descript, etc.)
• Experience in corporate or internal branding videos.
