What you will do

Creative & Editing Leadership

  • Lead the editing and post-production of high-quality videos for:
  • Performance ads (Meta, Google, YouTube; OTT as applicable)
  • Brand films, explainers, corporate videos
  • Social media (Reels, Shorts, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, YouTube)
  • Website, landing pages, and pitch decks
  • Translate briefs, scripts, and raw footage into compelling visual stories.
  • Define pacing, narrative flow, transitions, and visual style; ensure brand consistency across outputs.

Strategy & Performance Alignment

  • Edit for

    conversion, engagement, and retention

    ; align videos to funnels and KPIs.
  • Adapt creatives based on performance insights (hooks, watch time, CTR, drop-offs).
  • Produce multiple versions/cuts for A/B testing.

Motion & Advanced Editing

  • Integrate motion graphics, typography, effects, and animations where required.
  • Perform color correction/grading; ensure professional audio balancing, sound design, and music syncing.

Ownership & Collaboration

  • Own end-to-end post-production workflows; manage timelines, priorities, and revisions.
  • Maintain organized project files, versioning, and asset libraries in shared drives.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, design, and growth teams; iterate quickly on feedback.


Who you are (Required Skills & Experience)

    Formal background in a

    relevant domain

    (Film/ Media/ Design/ Animation/ Communication/ VFX or similar).
  • Experience:

    5+ years

    of professional video editing experience.
  • Portfolio:

    Strong reel showcasing

    ads, brand videos, and social-first short-form content

    .
  • Tools:

    Advanced proficiency in

    Adobe Premiere Pro

    ; working proficiency in

    Adobe After Effects

    and/or

    DaVinci Resolve

    .
  • Craft:

    Solid understanding of storytelling and visual psychology; platform-specific formats and best practices; color grading, audio mastering, and export pipelines.
  • Performance mindset:

    You care how edits

    perform

    (hooks, retention, CTR, CPA/ROAS), not just how they look.
  • Process:

    Reliable with deadlines; comfortable juggling multiple projects;

    clear communicator

    (Hindi or English) with strong feedback-handling skills.
  • Independence:

    Able to take creative ownership and work autonomously.


Nice to have

  • Experience in

    agency

    or

    performance marketing

    environments (preferred).
  • Strong motion graphics/animation skills.
  • Knowledge of

    AI-assisted

    editing tools (e.g., Runway, Descript, CapCut) and

    Frame.io

    for review.
  • Familiarity with

    Final Cut Pro

    and

    Canva
