About the Role

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our growing team. The role focuses on producing short-form content, social media advertisements, and podcast edits that enhance brand visibility and drive engagement.

The ideal candidate will work closely with our creative and marketing teams to transform raw footage into high-quality, engaging videos optimized for multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Edit short-form videos (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, etc.) with strong hooks and engaging pacing.
  • Create and optimize social media advertisements for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
  • Edit podcasts into polished versions, including audio cleanup, intro/outro placement, and highlight clips.
  • Add captions, transitions, motion graphics, sound effects, and background music where required.
  • Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines, campaign goals, and platform-specific best practices.
  • Manage deadlines and deliver projects within agreed timelines while maintaining quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the content and marketing teams to brainstorm creative ideas for campaigns.
Requirements
  • 1–3 years of proven experience as a Video Editor (freelance, agency, or brand experience accepted).
  • Proficiency in professional editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve.
  • Strong understanding of short-form content trends and social media algorithms.
  • Knowledge of storytelling techniques, hooks, pacing, and retention strategies.
  • Ability to edit both video and audio (basic sound mixing, noise reduction, syncing).
  • Attention to detail in color grading, transitions, and audio quality.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote and fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
  • Experience with motion graphics and animations.
  • Familiarity with YouTube SEO and thumbnail creation.
  • Prior experience in editing paid advertising creatives for Facebook, Instagram, or YouTube.
  • Understanding of video performance metrics such as click-through rate (CTR) and hook rate.
