Role Summary

Video Editor

Key Responsibilities

1. Video Production & Editing

• Edit and produce

  long-form content

  (YouTube podcasts, student interviews, educational talks, webinars, etc.)
• Create

  short-form Reels and clips

  from long-form footage optimized for Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts.
• Edit high-quality

  educational and brand videos

  with emotional, motivational, and informative tones.
• Ensure videos follow the brand’s

  content style guide, storytelling framework, and tonality

  .

2. Visual & Motion Design

• Add

  motion graphics

  , text animations, and branded overlays for enhanced engagement.
• Work with the creative team to develop

  intros/outros, transitions, and subtitles

  for social media.
• Maintain color consistency, sound clarity, and professional finishing across all deliverables.
  

3. Platform Optimization

• Adapt content format for different platforms (9:16 for Reels, 16:9 for YouTube, 1:1 for Facebook).
• Collaborate with the marketing team to

  A/B test formats, hooks, and visual storytelling styles

  .
• Stay updated with

  social media video trends

  , transitions, meme edits, and viral storytelling techniques.

4. Collaboration & Workflow

• Coordinate with content strategists, copywriters, and designers to align visual storytelling with campaign objectives.
• Manage project timelines and maintain an organized workflow using internal project management tools.
• Suggest creative improvements and new ideas to elevate the brand’s visual communication.
  

Key Deliverables

• 3–5 long-form edits per week (YouTube Podcasts, Interviews, Webinars)
• 10–15 short-form edits per week (Reels, Shorts, Educational Clips)
• Platform-optimized content with engaging hooks, subtitles, and thumbnail references
• Branded templates and consistent video identity across all outputs

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proven experience in

  Video Production & Editing

  (preferably for educational or digital media brands)
• Proficiency in

  Adobe Premiere Pro

  ,

  After Effects

  ,

  Final Cut Pro

  , or

  DaVinci Resolve

• Knowledge of color grading, audio balancing, and cinematic editing

• Experience with motion graphics and basic animation

• Strong sense of storytelling, rhythm, and pace

• Excellent communication skills

  and ability to work within deadlines
• Bachelor’s degree in

  Film Production, Multimedia, Design, or related field

  (preferred)
• Experience in

  education consulting, EdTech, or influencer-based content

  is an added advantage
