Role Description

Video Editor

Key Responsibilities

Video Editing & Post-Production

• Edit a variety of video formats — ads, social media reels, branded content, corporate films, and documentaries.
• Perform color correction, sound syncing, and basic motion graphics where needed.
• Export final videos in multiple formats for digital and broadcast platforms.

Creative Storytelling

• Bring scripts and storyboards to life with engaging pacing, transitions, and visual flow.
• Suggest edits, music choices, and treatments to enhance the emotional impact of videos.
• Maintain brand tone and narrative consistency across all outputs.

Collaboration & Workflow

• Work closely with directors, producers, designers, and writers to understand project vision.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Maintain organized project files and follow version control best practices.

Skills & Qualification

Experience:

• 2–4 years of professional editing experience in an agency, production house, or as a freelancer (showreel required).
• Exceptional freshers with strong portfolios may also apply.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in

  Adobe Premiere Pro

  (mandatory).
• Familiarity with

  After Effects, DaVinci Resolve (color grading), Audition, or Final Cut Pro

  is a plus.
• Knowledge of aspect ratios, codecs, frame rates, and export pipelines for social-first and 16:9 content.

Soft Skills:

• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Able to work under tight deadlines and adapt quickly to feedback.
• Collaborative mindset with good communication skills.
