Video Editing Trainer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Video Editor with a strong background in teaching to join our content team. As a Video Editor, you will play a key role in transforming raw educational footage into polished, engaging video lessons and interactive content for our learners. Your teaching experience will be crucial in understanding the pedagogical flow, clarity, and instructional value of the videos.

Key Responsibilities:

Edit recorded educational content including lectures, tutorials, explainers, and promotional videos.

Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) and teachers to maintain pedagogical quality.

Add animations, infographics, and visual effects to enhance learner engagement.

Ensure audio-video synchronization, clear visuals, and proper formatting for different platforms (YouTube, LMS, Mobile).

Create intro/outro sequences, transitions, and branding elements in line with company standards.

Collaborate in the shooting process if required (offline presence).

Organize and archive video footage and maintain version control.

Suggest improvements in delivery style and pacing based on learner needs.

Requirements:

3–4 years of teaching experience in school/college/coaching or edtech.

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Camtasia, or similar tools.

Strong understanding of e-learning content design and pedagogy.

Good sense of timing, storytelling, pacing, and transitions.

Ability to edit multiple formats (e.g., short-form reels, long-form classes, animated explainers).

Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Availability for online and offline coordination (office/studio visits, shoot support).

Nice to Have:

Experience with green screen editing, motion graphics, and typography.

Familiarity with LMS platforms or content delivery tools.

Ability to script or storyboard basic educational content.
