Video Editing Trainer

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct interactive video editing classes for students (online/offline) covering tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, and related software.
  
• Teach concepts such as video storytelling, editing workflow, transitions, sound design, color correction, and motion graphics.
  
• Design practical assignments and projects to help learners apply creative and technical skills.
  
• Mentor students individually, review their work, and provide constructive feedback.
  
• Stay updated with the latest editing trends, styles, and techniques to keep the curriculum industry-relevant.
  
• Collaborate with the academic and content team to improve the learning experience and course structure.
  
• (If required) Participate in content creation for educational videos, tutorials, or sample projects.
  
• Ensure classes are engaging, outcome-oriented, and maintain a high standard of delivery.

Requirements

Requirements:

• 3–4 years of professional experience in video editing and/or teaching video editing at institutes, media schools, or edtech platforms.
  
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
  
• Strong understanding of video production workflow, storytelling, and aesthetics.
  
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
  
• Creative mindset with attention to pacing, transitions, and visual storytelling.
  
• Ability to handle both classroom and online training environments.
  

Nice to Have:

• Experience in motion graphics, green screen editing, or YouTube video production.
  
• Exposure to LMS platforms or e-learning content creation.
  
• Ability to script or storyboard training content or sample projects.
