Qualifications

·        PhD & Master’s Degree in any discipline with at least 60% marks (or equivalent grade).

·        Minimum 10 years of teaching and academic administrative experience in higher education.

·        Familiarity with UGC / NAAC / NBA norms and autonomous college operations.

Key Responsibilities :

·        Assist the Principal in the day-to-day academic and administrative operations.

·        Oversee curriculum planning, academic scheduling, and exam coordination in line with autonomous norms.

·        Monitor faculty performance and support professional development initiatives.

·        Ensure compliance with university regulations, accreditation standards, and internal quality benchmarks.

·        Address student concerns and grievances, maintaining discipline and a conducive academic atmosphere.

·        Supervise and guide department heads in planning and execution of academic and co-curricular activities.

·        Coordinate with the IQAC, Examination Cell, and Academic Council for continuous improvement.

·        Support the Principal in staff recruitment, appraisal, and workload distribution.

·        Represent the institution in official meetings and act as Principal in their absence.

·        Encourage innovation, research, and industry collaboration within the academic ecosystem.
