Vice President - Projects

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall direction and leadership for the execution of all projects across regions.
• Supervise and review project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines, cost, and quality.
• Directly manage and coordinate with

  Site GMs, AGMs, DGMs

  , and ensure alignment with company goals.

2. Multi-site Project Management

• Simultaneously manage

  multiple large-scale project sites

  , ensuring efficient resource utilization.
• Standardize project management practices and establish project governance models.
• Conduct regular site visits, review meetings, and audits to assess progress and resolve issues.

3. Strategic Planning & System Implementation

• Establish robust

  project management systems

• Drive digitalization and automation in project reporting, monitoring, and control.
• Develop company-wide policies for

  quality assurance, safety, resource planning

4. Team Leadership & Organizational Development

• Lead, mentor, and motivate a large, multi-disciplinary team of project professionals.
• Define KPIs for GMs/AGMs/DGMs and evaluate team performance.
• Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Identify skill gaps and implement

  training & development programs

5. Stakeholder & Cross-functional Coordination

• Coordinate with Design, Procurement, Planning, Stores, and Finance departments for seamless operations.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities for project approvals and compliance.
• Provide timely updates and strategic insights to top management.

6. Risk Management & Issue Resolution

• Identify risks, bottlenecks, and delays in projects and implement mitigation strategies.
• Provide quick resolutions for on-site and off-site issues related to execution, labor, material, or approvals.
• Ensure legal and contractual compliance in all project-related activities.

7. Quality, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure strict adherence to

  quality control standards

  HSE norms

  at all sites.
• Enforce site-level safety protocols and conduct regular safety audits.
• Drive quality benchmarking across projects to ensure long-term asset sustainability.

Educational Qualification

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering

  (Mandatory)

• M.E./M.Tech MBA (Project/Construction Management)

  - Preferred

Desirable Certifications

• PMP PMI-SP PRINCE2
• Leadership or Strategy Certifications (IIM/XLRI/ISB, etc.) Advantageous
• ERP Implementation or Digital Project Management Training
