Vice President - Employee Relations

As a Vice President - Employee Relations at HSBC, your role will be crucial in supporting the development and implementation of selected Business Change related projects. You will provide strategic advisory to business and HR teams on various labor and employment matters, including key transformation initiatives. Your responsibilities will include leading and managing ER projects, designing and implementing HR/ER policies in compliance with local laws, and coaching HR colleagues and people managers on effective ER issue resolution. Key Responsibilities: - Support the development and implementation of Business Change related projects - Provide strategic advisory on labor and employment matters - Lead/manage ER projects and initiatives - Design and implement HR/ER policies in compliance with laws and regulations - Coach and develop HR colleagues and people managers on ER matters - Manage complex ER and whistleblowing issues and investigations - Produce operational reporting and dashboards for ER service delivery - Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders - Partner with ER teams across the region - Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements - Engage and manage relationships with legal counsels - Work on litigation strategy for employment disputes Qualifications Required: - Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders - Significant experience in handling complex ER matters - High business acumen and understanding of changing trends - Solid knowledge of labor and employment legislations - Clear and concise communication skills - Strong investigation and report writing skills - Organizational skills and attention to detail - Flexibility and ability to multi-task - Experience in navigating a complex organizational structure At HSBC, you'll have the opportunity to achieve more and contribute to the growth and success of the organization.
