Vice President - Employee Relations

As a Vice President - Employee Relations at HSBC, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the development and implementation of selected Business Change projects. You will provide strategic advice to the business and HR teams on various labor and employment matters, especially regarding key transformation and change initiatives. Your responsibilities will include leading and managing Employee Relations (ER) projects and initiatives, designing and implementing HR/ER policies in compliance with local labor laws and Group guidelines, and coaching HR colleagues and people managers on effective ER matter resolution. Your role will involve managing complex ER and whistleblowing issues, serving as a point of escalation for HOST Offshore India, and providing operational reporting and dashboards for tracking ER service delivery. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as HR teams, Internal Legal, and Specialist Functions, to ensure seamless delivery of ER objectives. Additionally, your responsibilities will include compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, consolidation and reporting on all ER aspects for GSC & HTC sites, and engaging legal counsels on litigation strategy. To excel in this role, you should possess the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse HR and business stakeholders, demonstrate leadership aligned with HSBC values, and have significant experience in managing complex Employee Relations matters. You should have a solid understanding of labor and employment legislations, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong investigation and report writing abilities, organizational skills, and the flexibility to multitask and prioritize effectively.
