Vice President- Cybersecurity

Synax Technologies is seeking a dynamic and visionary Vice President – Cyber Security to lead our India operations and drive our global cybersecurity strategy.

We are looking for a leader with a strong blend of technical expertise, architectural design experience, and strategic business acumen. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, scaling, and strengthening a world-class Security Operations Center (SOC) while ensuring all cybersecurity initiatives are aligned with our global business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

SOC Architecture & Scaling

• Design, build, and operationalize a

  global SOC from the ground up

  , including strategy, roadmap, tools, processes, and physical infrastructure.
• Define long-term SOC vision aligned with global business objectives and customer needs.

Technical & Architectural Leadership

• Provide hands-on leadership across

  cybersecurity architecture and operations

  , ensuring scalable, resilient, and future-ready security solutions.
• Drive measurable business value through security enablement and innovation.

MSSP Operations & Client Engagement

• Lead

  MSSP service delivery

  , managing global customer engagements and ensuring seamless integration of SOC services into client environments.
• Own service quality, SLAs, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.

People & Team Leadership

• Build, mentor, and scale high-performing teams including

  SOC managers, threat hunters, incident responders, and analysts

  .
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Operational Excellence & Governance

• Establish frameworks, playbooks, KPIs, and metrics aligned with

  international standards and best practices

  (ISO, NIST, etc.).
• Ensure consistent service quality, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Advanced Threat Management

• Lead threat detection, investigation, and response using

  SIEM, SOAR, EDR, XDR, UEBA, Threat Intelligence

  , and

  AI/ML-driven automation

  platforms.
• Drive automation and proactive threat-hunting initiatives.

Business & Executive Alignment

• Partner with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure security

  enables business innovation

• Deliver executive-level reporting, risk insights, and strategic recommendations.

Continuous Innovation

• Champion automation, scalability, and modern security architecture.
• Continuously evolve SOC design, processes, and technologies to stay ahead of emerging threats.

Qualifications & Experience

• 20+ years

  of experience in cybersecurity, with

  15+ years

  in global SOC/CSOC leadership or architecture-focused roles.
• Proven success in

  building and scaling SOC/CSOC operations

  from inception to maturity.
• Strong expertise in:
• Security Operations & Architecture
• Incident Response & Threat Intelligence
• Endpoint, Cloud, and Network Security
• Hands-on experience with

  SIEM/SOAR platforms

  , cloud security frameworks, and automation technologies.
• Deep understanding of

  360° cybersecurity architecture

  , governance, and design principles.
• Industry-recognized certifications such as

  CISSP, CISM, CISA

  (additional certifications are a plus).
• Experience in

  regulated industries

  (BFSI, Healthcare, Government, Telecom) preferred.
• Excellent

  communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation

  skills.
